Carnival Game

Knock all the Robloxian Woman face cubes off of the shelf to “win” the game!! 

I would say that I had a decent time making this game, but I did struggle immensely starting it out, which made my game probably a little lackluster than other games. I had a lot of trouble with the velocity of the projectile balls as well as making them able to actually “project” and fly outwards. So thankfully, after I did that I knew that I didn’t have much left to do afterwards! However, I still believe that my game could have used some more pizazz. 

When I was making the shelves on the game, I originally wanted it to be right by the back wall and connected to it, with three shelves instead of the two shelves a little bit in front of the back wall. I decided against this when I wanted to see the object that I hit go flying backwards, and the position of the three shelves was also just not working for me, so I didn’t necessarily want to make my projectiles smaller since it would be harder to work with so I just made it two shelves instead of three. This also helped contribute to my idea of what kind of carnival game I wanted to make – this was also made up when I was playtesting the game seeing if it worked or not. 

When I was playtesting my game I found it a little difficult to get the cubes on the top shelf as well as the cubes on the sides. While they were possible it was very difficult – for me at least – to get them knocked off. And it reminded me of an actual carnival game that ends up being rigged, making it harder to win the game! So because of the velocity not being able to hit it and the position of the top shelf, it made it extremely hard to actually knock the two top sides off of the shelf, which would have prevented someone from winning this game if it was an actual carnival game! I personally really liked this part of the game because even if I'm just clicking my trackpad to get the projectiles to shoot onto the cubes, I felt like I actually accomplished something once I got all the cubes off the shelfs.
